  7. Line a deep pie dish or Dutch oven with paper (I use the paper that comes with the pastry) then line with pastry. Pour in the beef filling.
  8. Cover with more pastry, brush with beaten egg and bake in a moderate oven until golden brown
  9. Serve with mashed potatoes and vegetables.
