- Reduce the heat to moderate. Add the onion to the remaining drippings in the frying pan. saute the onion for about 5 minutes until soft. Gradually stir in the cream. Cook the source, stirring constantly, for 2 to 3 minutes until it thickens slightly. ( do not boil ). Season the source with salt.
- Cut the steak crosswise into thin slices and transfer into a warmed serving platter. Poor any accumulated juices and the onion sauce over the steak and serve immediately.
