Aloo Keema - Pakistani Minced Lamb and Potato Curry Succulent minced lamb simmers in a tomato-based sauce with a variety of aromatic spices before adding sliced potatoes to the curry. The contrast between the meaty keema and the tender potatoes is the stuff comfort food is made of. Mix the curry powder with a little water to form a paste then add to the onion and fry gently, stirring constantly so it doesn't burn. Add beef and potatoes and cook and stir to break up the mince and coat it all in the curry paste.

- Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onions and fry till nice golden brown.
- Add the mincemeat along with ginger & garlic paste. Cook on medium – high heat for a few minutes till color changes.
- Add the dry spices (coriander powder, salt, turmeric,red chili powder & red chilli flakes) Keep stirring for 4-5 minutes to let the spices cook.
- Add the potatoes and fry 4-5 minutes then add 1/2 cup of boiled water. - Turn the heat slow and add 2-3 green chillies, chopped spring onion & some coriander.
- Sprinkle cinnamon powder cover and let cook till potatoes are tender. - Take off heat. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with roti, naan or boiled rice.

Now add the minced lamb, use the back of the wooden spoon to break down the morsels of meat to prevent it from being lumpy. Add the garlic, ginger, chilli powder, turmeric, cumin, garam masala, and salt.
