  13. Pour half of the sugar Syrup over the lower half, spreading it evenly.

  15. Place the other half on top of the lower half, and pour the remaining sugar Syrup.
  16. Use the remaining Icing to cover the top of the cake, and it's sides.
  17. For garnishing, decorate the cake with whipped cream (or heavy cream whipped well with sugar and vanilla extract), and cover it with grated chocolate.
  18. Allow the cake to set in the refrigerator for atleast 1 hour.

For an extra twist (optional) put an almond in the center or stir in couple drops of liquor like brandy or rum in sponge mixture. First, dip the bottom of the cake ball into the chocolate.
